20 years ago Melly trained with the ECBS (European College of Bowen Studies) and has since trained in the post graduate school of Applied Myoskeletal Therapy with John Garfield from Australia (AMT), Assessment Procedures with Graham Pennington, an advanced Bowen Practitioner and Chiropractor, as well as obtaining a diploma in Anatomy, Physiology and Massage from the internationally recognised school ITEC.
Over the years of treating thousands of people, Melly has observed certain patterns that play out in people's lives. These patterns have enabled her to deepen her practise with somatic work, extra sensory tune ins, visualisations, breathwork and other methods that help people breakthrough their blocks far more quickly. She uses all these therapies for her client's benefit and is able to draw on a wide range of options in order to best approach both physical and emotional pain. When doing bodywork, Melly is able to break through back pain, chronic aches, shoulder pain, migraine and severe headaches. Sinusitis, sciatica, depression, anxiety, hayfever, knee pain and other aches may all be helped with fascial release, energy work and emotional release.
Melly has worked on children with ADHD and has also had the honour to work with terminally ill clients right up until the point of transition. It is gentle enough to treat fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue and other nerve related disorders yet deep and effective enough to treat sports injuries, sciatica and pelvic rotations. It benefits children, elderly, pregnant women, terminally ill people and everyone in between!
